Lana Del Rey - An inspiring musician

Lana Del Rey latest album "Norman Fucking Rockwell"

We've all listened to "Summertime Sadness" or "Video games" and wondered how can a song transfer you so many vibes and emotions without being a usual romantic ballad. Well, that's Lana! Every song of her carries those calm rythms that can simultaneously bring powerful emotions and take you back to an older time. At least that's how Lana's songs make me feel. Just listen to "Salvatore" and you will get that vintage vibe.

Lana Del Rey is one of the few artists of our time that holds this old perfection craziness. Her songs have so much more to say than what they seem. It's like every Lana's song is connected with the previous and the next one. All of her albums are masterpieces of passion and music. Her greatest album "Norman F. Rockwell" is probably one of the best albums of all times; however, it has unfortunately never taken the credits it deserves. Lana in this album starts telling her story with "Norman F. Rockwell" and every song that follows is a continuation of the fairytale. Even the album's wallpaper is so closely connected with her lyrics in the songs. But it's not just "Norman" that makes Lana's music so great. All of her albums are so exceptional, that make her for sure one of the greatest artists of our decade.

She is what we would call "revolutionary artist". She doesn't follow the established road of singers, and that's why she is not "loved" by the music industry. She is a pioneer in the stylised cinematic quality of songs and has inspired many musician, one of whom is Billie Eilish who follows the music pattern of Lana.
