We Are the World - Μικρό ιστορικό - Φωτογραφικό άλμπουμ | Περιθώριο

In 1985 Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie, compose the song We Are the World, which later became one of the most popular and important songs of music industry. The social and humane importance of We Are the World is invaluable.

This song is a pure proof of the influence that an artist can have and the power of music. About 150 million dollars were raised from its sales, all of which were given in charities for children in Africa. But that is not the only thing that makes this historic musical moment, so great. We Are the World is a pure artistic gathering of the greatest musicians in the world - it is not bounded by any racist or sexist anachronistic opinion. Black and White, Women and Men, are all together singing for the world, singing for children, singing for those in need.

Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Bob Dylan, Tina Turner, Cyndi Lauper, Lionel Richie, Bruce Springsteen, Steve Perry, Ray Charles and many others are at the same studio, the same time.
